JEANNIE MILLS-SECRETARY (she/her)​

I was born and raised in Barrie and married my high school sweetheart. After we were married we lived in Alberta, New York and Maine but returned to Barrie twenty years ago. I have 4 lovely daughters who continually amaze and inspire me.

I have been a criminal defence lawyer for 18 years, solely providing legal representation for legal aid clients. My work has made me deeply appreciative of the challenges faced by people in vulnerable situations and I am excited to be part of a team that is committed to empowering, supporting and connecting this population with resources and opportunities.
