I am an educator, advocate, leader, and creative thinker.

 

I have a passion for working with children and youth. Having spent the past 22+ years as a teacher, with a focus on working with students with special education needs, I have been witness to the significance that decreased access to opportunities and resources has on an individual, and am excited to help Glowing Hearts bridge the gaps to facilitate change in our community.

In addition to my work as a teacher, I have previously sat on two other charitable boards as a secretary and as a communications chair, typically providing a lot of support in terms of communication, organization, governance, design, and social media. 

​

I feel honoured to be a part of Glowing Hearts and believe that Frank Nelson would be incredibly proud of the work we are doing to support the community.
